S'more Sundae With Nuts - Lynn Cahoon

June 1, 2014

So, what's this one all about? Well I'll tell you! We have to list four truths about ourselves. The fifth "fact", we will make up, and you, the guests, have to guess which one is untrue.

So without further ado....

S'more Sundae With Nuts - Lynn Cahoon

Layering the truth like chocolate, marshmallows and grahams

1. I wanted to be a rodeo princess when I grew up.

2. I took second place in my division at an international dart tournament.

3. I was president of our local Future Homemakers of America chapter

4. I've visited dive bars where you have to be buzzed in by the bartender.

5. I studied art history in college.

Hoowee! Miss Lynn doesn't give us much to go on. I reckon like her number #2 answer, it's like throwing a dart and hoping we land the bullseye. Of course, I have nowhere near the dart skills as Miss Lynn so may not even hazard a throw.

Now, #1 I could see because Miss Lynn has a fantastic Bull Rider's series out, more coming on that in just a minute. But she could be trying to throw us off...ya never know with this one LOL
#2 is VERY impressive no matter what way you look at it.
#3 Congrats on your presidency, miss! Is FHA like the female version of the Masons? Am I being snarky? I don't mean to be, just haven't a clue! Must google...
#4 Woohoo! Let me go with you next time!
#5 Okay, a quick test, Miss Cahoon, born in the Netherlands in 1853, who is the most famous Pointillist artist in the world?

A fellow Sizzle & Sass Sister, Miss Lynn Cahoon is a talented and diversified author, writing everything from cowboys to witch hunters, from mystery to contemporary. Do pick up her latest sexy cowboy book, THE BULL RIDER'S KEEPER

  1. CD- you're just a little sneaky... Googling my answers. Of course, if I really did place 2nd, I would be listed on the website... and no, I won't upload pics of the house to check my cleaning skills for # 3 - but we all know a home is more than just a clean house. (FHA is the female version of Future Farmers of America, or at least was...back in the day.)

Don't you love my cover? LOL That's Jesse (the bull rider) to a tee!

  2. He's HOT! My Irish girlfriend Marian LOVES LOVES your bullrider series - she's read them all. I reckon the Irish would be a hot market for you. Because so many of them are still country and small-town good people who enjoy a pint and work hard in the farming industry. Anyhoo, I am VERY sneaky and cheeky and bold. Pardon my audacity LOL

    2. Will do! If you find any great Irish promo opportunities, let me know as Watershed's heroine is a lovely Irish lass, so I know I need to target that country a bit more.

  3. I'm going to guess #2 is the made up fact. But if it isn't then congratulations. As for the dive bar, if you had a hunk like the exceptional man on The Bull Rider's cover, then I'd go with you next time.

    2. I love dive bars. A former person in my life...and I found one in the Idaho mountains that the bartender had a hobby and side business of collecting and selling coins.

  4. I'm going to go with #2 also. Not because I don't think you don't have what it takes to win a dart championship, Lynn, but International . . . hmm. Do they have those? :)

    1. I know! Can you imagine if it is true? We'd have a celebrity in our midst!

    2. Hi Mae... The dart community is very large. Of course I play soft tip, so don't get me started on the unfair treatment between soft and steel. :) That sounded wrong.

    3. Soft and steel *snicker* Did you even know back then what connotations that would have for your life today? LOL

  5. I'm going with #5. I never thought of googling for answers. You are a sneaky one, Cd.

    2. Did anyone want to hazard a guess on Number 5 artist? No? It's Van Gogh!

  6. Hi guys, back from an outing. We took the 4-wheelers out for a spin. :) Fun, but I'm drained. Interesting about the Irish connection. I'll have to see if I can do some promo that way...
